Our entrance, with Dartmoor just visable on the horizon

Getting the muck from the yards. When the tractor and trailer goes off to spread the muck out dash the chooks

The lake where the ducks live

One of the carp, they are tame enough to feed from our hands

Hey Jan, edit your title, they're not too much for dial up, don;t want to put Mojo off.
It makes me quite nostalgic seeing the landscape and that glimpse of Dartmoor. Lovely to see them, thanks.

Beautiful pictures - my parents lived for many years on the very edge of Dartmoor, our kids grew up with visits to see Nan and Grandpa who had a farmhouse like yours and a river to play in like yours too. Always thought it an idyllic place.

Thanks everyone Very Happy

It is lovely living here but I know it wouldn't suit a lot of people. We never get a holiday for a start, altho OH tells me every day is a holiday for me Rolling Eyes and theres a job to be done where ever you look. The place just eats money and I dream of new fences not diamond rings or new cars Laughing

But the space and peace make up for the things we have to go without, which we dont worry about anyway Laughing Laughing Laughing

I love that quote, I am going to use that one! I understand completely. They are all extremely lovely photos. Lucky you's... but then you make your own luck in life so well done.

I have to say as a frequent visitor that it is amazing there. I did say once that I would use all my holiday to visit spana if she lived in the centre of a built up city but it does make it extra special that she lives somewhere so gorgeous. They both put in an awful lot of hard work to make it so special.

Fortunately there is alway IDEAL WORLD to watch for all the diamond rings you could ever dream of! Very Happy

I just knew you would come on and say that Laughing Laughing Laughing They have lovely diamond rings on Ideal World but just for looking, they never seem to have fencing stakes and wire, but i watch just in case Wink
