I couldnt get it to work but I've seen something like this on a programme about dairy cows, where they can come in and be milked as and when they want. To encourage them in they have the brush things. While they stand there being washed and scrubbed, they get milked. Fab! |

I worked fine for me the cows looked to really enjoy it ! bet it comes at a price, we found a brilliant playground toy that is a mixture of technology and fitness but it costs £24,000 gulp |

An awful lot of dairy cows have something like that somewhere in the yards, the main problem with providing one for beef cattle would be where to put it, bearing in mind that even in summer dairy cows are in yards twice a day whereas yours will be out & probably miles away, it's where to put one in a field, I have heard of scratching posts for sheep, but securing something like that in a field for cattle would be difficult.

Well, we do have a place that would do In the summer we try and keep the Highlands in the 'near to the house' fields, because the holiday makers like to see them There is a fairly biggish barn where I have my Highland crush set up that they can go into at will, so thought it could go on the outside wall.
I'm going to have a look at one on Wednesday Itsy, have you ever seen them used with beef cattle? Surely they would like it just as much as the dairy cows
Oh, we've just had a thought, wonder if their horns would be a problem |

Oh thats just excellent!! Do you reckon she's the only one that uses it? How on earth did they get them to use it in the first place?
I have a dog that would love one for Christmas |
