Hi guys
Been thinking of planting some veg in a border like you've seen and i was thinking of growing some herbs
But are herbs
Just so when i go to the garden centre i know what to look for.  |

| To generalise, herbs usually are plants that have either medicinal benefits for good health, or are beneficial to flavouring food. Would you be planting them for the benefit of your chickens..? if so, I would suggest Comfrey, Borage, Oregano, these are known to be healing herbs, that the girls can peck at when poorly, though I'm sure there are plenty more. |

| or maybe your Mum would use Parsley, Sage Rosemary, Thyme and Mint in cooking ? if not then not worth growing we aslo like chives (like spring onion) and lemon balm(grows like mint but can replace lemon) |

as it spreads like mad if you put it in the ground |
