The next nail in the coffin is that the isolation units that most of us have had in place since 2001, are no longer allowed and we have 20 day standstill in place ( ................. excuse me, bout of very bad language ) so as the pedigree sales (about 15 scheduled) are all cramped in at about 2 days apart from one another up to the 27th Oct, WHAT THE ******* **** are we supposed to do if we dont manage to sell every sheep at the first or subsequent sales............ Good on them for helping the Welsh farmers. At least some of the devolved Govs are pro farming....... The sales prices are serious. I've got isolation units but they are only eligible for tups, not ewes Is F&M gender specific then......... news to me. Just crazy that they wont sanction isolation for females too, what are we supposed to do if we dont sell a female at the first sale and have to bring her home? May as well stick them all in the slaughter markets. I liked the Hebs, they looked really lovely in the Autumn sun with the leaves on the field. Best of luck with your sales!
