oooooh for a poster from essex thats a bit naughty............the french sign up to everything going .........................then go there own way............de gaulle started it............but it seems to work..........i think??

With such glaring errors as this, how can a report be taken seriously?!! There are only 90-odd DEPARTMENTS in the whole of France, including Corsica, anyway ... and far fewer REGIONS, these being made up of 2, 3 or 4 deparments. Rolling Eyes

Sorry to be picky, but glaring inaccuracies like this annoy me. Evil or Very Mad

On the plus side, so far we are in an "all clear" department ... long may that last!!

vanessa .......round here what locals call regions are what we call communes............for example gorge a small village commune is on the dept. listings as a region.......hope that helps

they do it all the time......try asking for a flute in the bakers.........round here its tiny in brittany it was long and thin and in normandy the lady said you need a bagette sir.........but thats part of frances rich taperstry( if only i could spell too

have been advised by aviculture club .ALL poultry shows are off till 2008 and only vaccinated poultry can be sold(whether we can give away or exchange is not certain) and it is advised to buy only close ringed birds so they can be traced

yes and yes the local aviculture club(got to be a member) arrange it for us and the cost is a few coppers a bird so even a flockof 30 odd(honest tricia i miss counted)only costs a couple of pounds........wise assurance at small expense i think.............other wise need to contact vet and that costs more

its all three vaccine in one jab.............not garantied against AI but reckoned to be 90% positive
