Are red mites only parasites to chickens or can they be pests to other animals such as rabbits does anyone know?
I have rabbit houses with felt roofs and saw a little red creature crawling on it-could this be a red mite? Confused

Thanks to you both for your replies....and for your welcome to the forum. I am so glad I happened to find this forum-I would be panicking without the help and advice of you all in times of need! I wondered why the ...ahem...other ...forum had gone quiet - so here you all are. lol
