The whole herd will be slaughtered & there's a 20km exclusion zone around the farm. All animal movements have been stopped.

I've merged the two threads together.

There is some information on BBC news and on Defra's website.

All animal movements banned, does this include poultry? Hubby and I were thinking of going to our first poultry auction today and we are not sure if it would be cancelled now or not Rolling Eyes

All the news is full of how quickly Defra have acted, but the one bit of info that would make such a difference has been withheld or have I just missed it. Has this farm brought anything in or sold anything recently, if so where from or who to.
