My potatoes have got blight due to the damp conditions we are experiencing at the moment.

I would dig them up but they are currently under the river (currently get it?)

Anybody know where I can get some rice plants from Laughing Laughing

It's actually not quite as bad as this, this was last week, but see the runner bean canes? well the potatoes are next to them. Confused

Laughing Laughing Is there still a hosepipe ban? Confused Laughing Laughing

Both my boys' schools had their sports days scheduled for tomorrow - they have been postponed. The fields look like the Somme! Shocked (not quite as waterlogged as yours though Itsy. Laughing )

Well I dug them up yesterday and today, it was the first time in 2 weeks I could get on there, they were all ruined Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

The river is back in it's bed, but it has started raining again & I still have standing water in the field.

On the good side the runner beans are begining to look perkier.

Sorry about your potatoes Sad
Here, everything we actually want to grow is waterlogged, rotting or just hasn't had enough sun to grow properly and everything we don't want to grow (weeds!!!! especially nettles) is growing at a stupid rate and is totally unmanageable Rolling Eyes
I look at my garden and want to cry with how much work there is to do!
