Does anyone grow their own veggies for their hens?

Mine love mashed potato and freshly picked peas. Any other ideas??!

Mine especially appreciate cabbage in the winter. When you are weeding, they love chickweed (of course Smile ) sow thistle and going to seed grass.

same as Kate but I grow perpetual spinach for them and they are not adverse to helping themselves,
I buy dark green cabbage for mine and serve it in a wire hanging basket to keep them amused ! Very Happy

Must try the spinach. I gave them lettuce before but they weren't interested.

Mine get Swiss chard which they love, lettuce, slug bitten strawberries and after we have eaten the corn on the cobs I give them the middle bit to pick over. They like rasps and blackberries as well Laughing

Mine are really fussy when it comes to veg. They like boiled potatoe peelings occasionally. I gave them cabbage but they left it then ate the slugs that came to eat the cabbage lol
But cauliflower, well they can't get enough.
