nonie's old bull henry was put own after he sliped she never trusted him at all,he was an aberdeen angus
well the calves he sired have just been born they are the cutest little calves i've ever seen
jet black with jet black noses ,the chap who is taking them bottle feeds them for a few months ,he has 2 cows that they keep for that reason and they are going on to be suckler cows
they have sold for £250 each and that is at 2 weeks although they will not go for another couple of months
i was also really taken by a heifer there 3 and a half months

wish me luck today ,i had a phone call a couple of days ago .
somebody has rescued a goat and it's spent it's life on a tether
the lady who rescued it let it straight into the feild, thinking she's catch it a check it over later
now it's limping and needs the collar cut off ,and the poor thing will not go into it's house ,even when its raining and howling wind ,standing in the pouring rain looking sad
ive promised to go up and give a hand, looks like its going to be a long day ,should be good on video |

,it's just reminded me why i don't like to sell my goat kids unless i vet the homes
the woman who rescued it is upset ,she hadn't had a chance to see it before it was relised into the feild
poor thing
it's knee joints are bent outwards from not having it's feet trimed it was walking on it's heels ,pretty sure it has fluke, collar was so tight it could hardly breath ,
we ran it down in about 5 minutes
oh caught it
it's now in a shed with a run so it can bond with the lady who has it now with straw bed , hay, fresh water and had it's feet done ,
think she'll be alright now ,although her legs will never be straight again |

Oh, poor thing! How can people be so cruel? I'd like to do the same to the previous owner!
Has it got a nice home now Suz? And has (s)he got a name? |

it has now ,the goat that was with her was put down as it's hooves had grown around it's front legs, right around ,this one wasn't quite as bad, she's also scared stiff of people and shivers all the time given time and lots of gentle handling she should be comfortable, aura ,i'm glad i didn't go and see it first otherwise it might be living here .the lady who has her now is looking for another goat to give her company
she's found her feet with this home and oh made a freind ,he is not really comfortable with cattle ,but kept finding himself looking into the eyes of a highland as it followed him round the feild and kept putting it's chin on his shoulder |

he said he liked them
he didn't reliese that they walked so quietly
he said only if we end up with a croft that we lived on
as he watched one of them lift the barbed wire with a horn ,stand on the fence and wiggle though ,oh and he added and electric fenced in as it went into a house that was being put up across the road ,it was quite funny seeing a highland looking out a window |

That sounds like a Highlander They're proper good at fence and hedge destruction. Nevis does a better job than the hedge cutter |
