Quark
Fresh Mackerel - not tinned (preferably NOT smoked - but tastes nicer if it is )
Flake mackerel into Quark and hey presto a pate type food that you can eat to your hearts content by dipping diced raw carrot or whatever takes your fancy in veg etc, and also get your omega in too...I warn you though, its moorish |

Me too. I also have been trying to get fit too. A friend is on gillian mckeiths diet and doing fab, I use some of her ideas and recipes but don't follow it as strictly. Have lost nearly a stone in 8 weeks and feel fab. my fav diet food are fruit smoothies and veggie curry.

Thanks:)
Nearly a stone now but I DAREN'T drink smoothies on this diet. The sugar content rockets if there is more than one fruit and intially I didn't think anything of it, but realised after a weigh in when everything else was done to the letter and asking an advisor that these were killers on this diet with Slimming World.
Lovely losing the weight. I can actually pull off my jeans without undoing them.....WHOOO HOOOO |

Great well done girls It does make you feel better, dont know if its the weight loss or just eating better.
Mines coming off too,- thats weight not jeans- you gave me a kick up the a*** when you said you had lost your first 5lbs. Lost 1st 5lbs and going for another 7lb. Its made a big difference to the pain in my knees as well
We'll have to have an update every so often to see how we are all doing |

| I've made a similar pate type thing using smoked mackerel and extra low fat cream cheese (Tesco extra low fat is even lower in cals than philadelphia light). Flake mackerel, add a few dollops of cream cheese, squirt of lemon juice and some ground black pepper - great on savoury biscuits or even better (but not diety) crusty bread! I lost 3 stone in 2005 doing weight watchers at home - faffed around last year so started this year about 1 1/2 stone up - but have lost about a stone of that - only about another 3 to go!! |

I have a smoothie made with two fruit servings plus water for my breakfast (am not good at breakfasts), real kick start to the day, plus another one sometimes around this time if hungry and dinner a couple of hours away. Love the mackerel dip, have had similar before, also like natural yogurt with dollop low fat ceasar dressing, great for dipping carrots/celery into.
well done us!

My favourite diety thing at the moment is a big pile of salad leaves chopped up small with a dressing of hot baked beans and all stirred up |
