no i think that would be far too fattening. mmmmmm blt's with mayo mmmmm and it's only and hour past lunchtime!

Or chocolate mouse - I have a recipe where they are raw in that! What a great excuse Wink

I'm not sure *how* much heat damages EFAs. Even when they are sold in bottles as cold pressed oil it is my understanding that even the "cold pressing" process generates a bit of heat....

I have a little book about flax oil. It does says not to cook with it, but they do say you can drizzle if over some of their recipes ie cooked food - so it must get heated a bit if you do that... Unfortunately it doesn't say more about it, so I don't know how much heat is a problem ie if soft boiled eggs and poached eggs would still have a high EFA content Confused

Ah, now I'm confused - don't they say oily fish is a good source too? And that is (usually) eaten cooked!
