Hi there,
I keep Oxford Sandy and Black Weaners to fatten in Dorset. I am now planning a scheme whereby you can book a pig, come and visit when you like, follow its progress etc., and then at the end of four months you can have it Slaughtered and Butchered to your specification. This is all for £250. This allows you to follow your food from free range field to table and its absolutely delicious!
If you may be interested please PM me.
Thanks,
Nick |

Hey Nick can you post a picture of your Oxford sandy and blacks? I'd like to compare them to a local breed we have here in Southern Sweden which (to me a pig breed ignoramous) looks similar.
This is the local Linderödsvin, what do you think?
Wish I was still in the UK and I would be booking a pig today. |

Hi Nigel,
Those pigs do look a lot like Oxford Sandy and Blacks, although the one on the right looks a little bit pale. Being rather technologically challenged, i don't know how to put pictures on here, but i could email some to you?
Thanks,
Nick |

Pictures of Nick's pigs and your possible future lunches, just think crispy bacon, pork chops and sausages...

If I didn't already get my pork & lamb direct from a farm, I would consider your offer NickR.
Though you're probably a bit too far away really.

I'm guessing that when you posted it wasn't the Anne Widdecome pics! |
