Um, am making ice cream...it's mixing now....have lost instructions to my Le Glacier Rolling Eyes
Can anyone give me an idea of how long I should mix before it'll be ready...I don't want to leave it and risk it burning out.

Should be around 30 - 40 minutes, IIRC for the Phillips. We may still have the book... hang on....

Whoops, yours is the Magimix one. Can't imagine it'd be much different.

Thanks Steph...I've put the bowl avec the ice cream into the freezer as it wasn't freezing after an hour...I think I may have left the bowl sitting out of the freezer for too long before putting mix in. I've put the freezer on fastfreeze, so will go and rescue it and try mixing again.
Does alcohol stop it from freezing?
Very Happy

Yeah, we're going to have ice cream to use up some of the 3 dozen eggs we've had this week Smile

Well, I hadn't chilled it before putting it in the machine. It's been in and out of the freezer a couple of times and I am about to put some on top of the crumble I made lastnight.
Apple and Apricot Crumble and Calvados and Strawberry Ice Cream.
