Anyone know anything about melons?

Does one seed produce 1 melon?

Also, rocket, does that grow like cress or a lettuce? Need to know how many seed to sow, so any advice would be great

Thanks

1 melon seed will make 1 plant, on which several melons could grow depending on conditions.

Ive never grown rocket but have plans to try it this year. I think if grows like leaf salad, ie it doesn't make a heart but you pick leaves

Rocket grows kind of like a lettuce and you can pick the outside leaves for a while without picking the whole plant! I've just sown mine in the greenhouse!

Rocket will self seed given half a chance - I've only needed to plant it once and now it comes up every year in the strawberry bed Rolling Eyes
