Looking at all the other breed threads, I don't think any other breed has incited such ribaldry...
araucanachick will no doubt be adding to this soon... she swears her TNN cockerel is such a gentleman, tips his hat when he services a hen... I didn't believe until I saw him. It was like "thank you kindly ma'am". |

Hi All
Anyone know of any breeders of these lovely birds? I know Wernlas breed them, and I believe Poultry Mad in Louth do, just wondered who else.
Especially the other (non black) colours.
Thanks |

Questions, Questions.
How many eggs a year do TNN's lay, and are they a good utility bird? (Im just thinking that if I hatch some for eggs, would the cockrals and excess hens make a good sunday lunch?) |

Quite time there were some more TNN pictures, so here is part of my bantam flock with a mix of other pullets.

Nice flock I notice you keep them fenced in with the orange netting. Do you not get problems with foxes? thanks JC |

| I use the orange netting to divide the runs. The whole is surrounded by electric netting. Yes, I do have a fox problem and orange net on it's own would be a disaster. |
