I'm sure I read that Nigel & Steph's swedish hens have eggs the colour of unbleached flour - must have been whenthe first got them - but I just remember useless info like that Wink

The Blommehöns definitely are no Cochin! Females around 2.5kg and males around 3.7kg.

whats the difference between the genebank ones and the other ones?

The genebank ones are "pedigree" hens, from a known line and heritage and known to be a true bloodline and breed to type.

The others are Blommehöns, too, but the "country" type, ones that may have at some time had other breeds mixed in. From the cocks we suspect some leghorn has got in them at some point in their past.
