we start on april the 1st
OH has 5 permanent pens in his barn plus another couple that can be made from hurdles if we need them
I've only got 3 ewe's this year
Trudiewoo has to have her own pen, she needs alot of persuading that her lambs are meant for her to feed Confused

I tend to travel within about 100 miles of home, I don't go North of the Humber, or much South of the M25, but I would go anywhere if there were enough animals to make it worth it - I go to Dorset once a month.

The sheep scanner ought to do goats, but sometimes they can't be bothered to stop rushing and do a few. I can understand that, the "big boys" will be doing 60,000 sheep in the season, I only do about 5,000, really I'm a cow scanner who does a few sheep, and I'm so bloody lazy that I quite like doing half a dozen and then going home Laughing Laughing
I've got a lot of little jobs that the big boys don't want, I think somebody with 50 sheep is just as important as somebody with 500. ( like my monika)

we take them all to the communal fank and do a few peoples altogether,
there were 5 lots where ours where done, about 150 altogether
then the scanner was moving a few miles down the road and doing a few more flocks
