Our French friends came for lunch today. I asked if we could borrow their brush cutter.
After the main course, JP wanted to have a break and some air, he changed inot overalls and went to the potager and cut back all the grass and weeds Next he was cutting back bramble, supervising Mark in some more tree lopping. I cannot believe that in less than 30 mins he'd reduced the grass to manageable for the weedkiller.
He's coming back on Tuesday with his chain saw
Not sure c'est normal for Sunday lunch in France, but I am very happy with the results.

What did you feed them on to get such a good result ? We had a dog once who had fits after we put some pet friendly weed killer on the lawn so please keep an eye on your cats, I personally have never used any since but sometimes needs must ! |

| have checked and its glyphosphate. recent research has shown its toxic to water dwellers (tadpoles) if it gets into water so not to be used near ponds. |

| ps our "lawn" was once a field, we had it cut back and have kept using the mower on it and it now looks like a llawn, although I wouldnt recomend playing bowls on it! It has taken 9 years though. And at last the trees are taller than the weed! |
