I am moving house and wish to redecorate but have a chicken/cockerel theme in mind for the kitchen. A friend makes curtains and blinds so had hoped to source some material but its proving very difficult.
Can anyone help with suppliers or just a pointer in the right direction would be great.
Thanks

How about ebay?
Have a look at these: http://tinyurl.com/27slbh
I have bought items from this seller before with excellent results (not bought any fabric) & she's also a PK member (doesn't post much though) |

Wow they're fantastic! I saw some chicken print fabric in a shop window in oxford ( ) recently which was meant for curtains and it was WAY WAY more expensive than this. I know it is a bit cheesy but I really love the cockerel motif, whether it is on mugs, fabris or tiles - or even RUGBY SHIRTS! Don't tell the OH he is supporting Scotland in the Worls Cup as usual |

Don't you just hate it when they do that!
We have loads of chicken-y stuff around the house but not yet resorted to making curtains. Don't really know where I'd hang chicken curtains. The coop doesn't need any! |

| it seemed a good idea to have chook blinds in the kitchen. Everything else is very plain. Chook wallpaper was never an option! I think chickens become a bit of an obsession. had a pep talk with them yesterday about not laying but still no eggs! |

It`s a little late - your kitchen is probably finished by now but perhaps you would like a painting or two of chickens to hang on the walls?
I would paint your own from photographs or have a huge selection of my own pictures to work from. Check out my website - http://www.saa.co.uk/art/Annesmart |

The cockerel pictures are lovely. And I like the wintery trees too. |

kitchen still a "work in progress"
Love the rooster pics. Unfortunately Mr Rooster ended up being a victim to my rather mad labrador last week so Labrador have a pic for you to copy of him but I would be interested in some pics and may see if I can get the girlies to pose for some pics. |

| So sorry to hear of the sad demise of Mr. Rooster! I await hearing further from you when you have sorted out some photographs etc. Yes get the girls to pose (they always want to show their `best` side) |

Thank you for taking the time to look at my website and for your kind comments. I always say the chickens paint themselves! They are such characters. Best wishes - Anne |
