I was given this baby by a friend
So I turned it into roast squash with tomatoes and basil - 3 dinners
This is what I didn't use for that, an egg underneath to give an indication of it's size
And the rest I made into soup - should keep me going for a bit

What an ugly squash!
But you've turned it into some wonderful stuff Itsy! Can I come for dinner, please? |

If you hadn't told me, I'd have thought it belonged on the sea-bed!
Looks a lot tastier now!

Certainly - want some homemade bread with it?
My friend gave me several through the summer, they're really lovely to eat, have been instructed to save the seeds from this one, might just set a few myself as well.
