Is there any chance you can source some hatching eggs of the bantam ones in your links Nigel? Wink

Don't know how they'd survive the journey but I'd love to have a go at hatching some this year. Very Happy

We can try! I'll ask Nigel to have a look around.

If you're lucky, I may be coming over the UK for a couple of days in May, so I could bring them with me and post them in the UK.

EDIT: Nigel's just checked, and the breed co-ordinator in the genebank is just in the next town.

Just got This back from the the Genebank administrator for those Öland bantams you like - I asked him for a trio for us.

I will put up a note and as soon I have some information for you I will come back to you.
I guess that you are looking for animals with "paper" so you can bee a part of the "genetic Base program" = Genbanksbesättningar ?
I hope that you are using our homepage www.kackel.se there is a lot of good information about our program !

Kind regards
Kurt Mårtensson

so we hopefully will be able to do eggs for you later. Very Happy
