A quick Google found these:

http://www.i4at.org/countrylife/cheese.html

http://www.allotment.org.uk/allotment_foods/3_Making_Cheddar_Cheese.php

http://www.cookinglight.com/cooking/cs/techniques/article/0,13803,1119931-1120048,00.html

May give you some ideas to be going on with. Wink

I'd love to come & watch - sadly much too far away! Sad

thanks you'd be welcome as well Wink better tidy up then and get tony to make another cake Cool ,i've done cheese several times ,but need the reciepes
as the temps are slightly different for goats and cows ,and the ammount of starter ect ,
not sure who has the book as i offered it to deb but she said it'll be a while before she needs it,as hers haven't kidded yet
think it might be the chap up the road as his are just about to kid
told deb how much milk she is likely to get and she's panicking about what to do with it her daughter said don't worry i'll drink it, i want big muscles Laughing ,bed isn't very well feeling fluy at the moment Confused

Better make it a cheesecake! Laughing

You can freeze milk, but I'm not sure if that will help much if you're just getting more milk every day. Rolling Eyes You'd need a big freezer in the end! Rolling Eyes
