went to work yesterday the chap who offered me a couple of sock lambs appologized and said that he still remembered ,i said that was alright as i had 3 ewe lambs to be getting on with ,so he said right oh ,oh you have ewe lambs
i've got a love tup lamb ,i don't sell the tups but i give away a couple each year to friends ,the thing is i really don't want his breed and my sheep are electric fence trained ,so how the hell do i say i'm sorry ,it would mean having a ram all the time ,it's lovely of him but i do love the black faces any ideas
and i haven't been on because i'm looking for a billy goat and i cannot find an unrelated one ,on the island so i'm having to go further afield ,which is difficult because i don't leave the island because of the blue men ,
has any body been to the fur and feather in scotland |

Be assertive dear,
Just tell him you are sorry but don't want a tup lamb, but you appreciate his offer |

it was so nice of him to offer ,the swaydales that he has, are his pride and joy and he is a lovely chap from harris reminds me of father christmas always chuckling ,the thing is i do like the blackies and quite keen on suffok and there are some to rent ones ,one is a smasher ,but deb will tell you what i'm like a choosing rams , that's the way i'd like to go ,the croft is working out well ,must take some pics ,there is so much to do down there
a billy is coming to stay for 3 weeks
but because of the ferry across it's very expensive only 2 people on the island have billies , it looks as if i'm going to have to get my own travelling billy
me assertive george
the blue men live under the waves in the minches , they sink ships unless you can sing a ditty better than them
so i've had it |

Ah, but you say they sink ships, you never mentioned ferries, so you'd be ok |

oh i don't know george our one had a near miss last year ,
lorries turned over ,a vintage car under a lorry ,and the poor drivers where stuck on there for 14 and a half hours
it should take about 3 ,so their singing was probably as bad as mine
plus who would milk the goats holi only lets down for me
somebodies going to the auction so i'm going to give her a couple of quick lesons in conformation and a couple of pics and hopefully she'll bring something nice back for me it's not ideal ,but the best i can do unless some kind person knows of a togg herd on skye |

You are so lucky and real sea, we overlook Morecambe Bay but no waves here, it is pretty though and I shall miss it when Hubby retires, this was High Tide today
it doesn't usually come anywhere near that far that is Ingleborough in the distance just off centre normally half that area would be saltmarsh with grazing sheep |
