Did anyone manage to watch all of The "F" Word tonight when Gordon Ramsey's pigs went to the slaughter house?
As soon as they showed the blood pit I switched off. |

Yes, watched it all.
Don't usually watch him as I find his unecessary use of the 'F' word very annoying. But my Mum told me it included the slaughter of Trinny & Suzannah, so we all watched it, my 2 boys as well.
It wasn't as bad as I expected. |

| I was really pleased that someone had the nerve to actually show how they are killed. Gordon's pigs went in relaxed and calm and didn't know what was happening - even the second one. Imagine how the animals feel like in the big slaughter houses where they do them in a long line. We always make sure that ours go to a small friendly slaughter house but I have never had the nerve to stay and watch (shameful I know) which is probably why I found the f'word to be so interesting last night. Good on him. |

| I watched it - didn't like watching it, but I made myself. I guess it was about as "good" as it gets in a slaughter house and all credit to Gordon for staying to see the process through to the end. I actually found the episode on castration and tail docking more distressing. |
