can anyone recommend a good book(s) on permaculture.
It's something I'm looking into for when we move, but many of the books want to look at the global issues rather than how it works in my back garden. |

Thanks Suz & H for the heads up on the magazine, have asked for a free copy. I quite like the look of some of the books. But the course, including yoga.. not sure I'm up for that.. |

Nigel you've probably seen this already, but I remembered you were looking for a permaculture book recently. There is a link at the bottom that takes you to another site which mentions books & courses.

It's Graham Burnett again CP - the same one that was doing the Course above - think that was a bit too 'knitted lentils' for Nigel |

i want to be a post apocalyptic neo-punk guerrilla gardener and knit lentils while hugging a tree, doing yoga and finding my inner chakra.
I like the idea of permaculture but some of the 'culture' that surrounds permaculture is just a step too far for me personally. |

I know what you mean! I wasn't personally endorsing the website, I just happened to come across it! |

| Someone lent me a pemaculture book once, gave it back after reading bits to find he gave it to a charity shop and I could have kept it! It had a duck pond made from an old bath set into a slope with a pipe coming from the plug hole so the bath could be drained and the fertilized water used for the garden. Always thought that was a good idea. |
