are there such things as agricultural auctions etc or farm sales where they sell old farm machinery and things?just been looking on e-bay there is a few things but we would prefer to find somewhere that local to buy from especially heavy machinery does anyone know where i can find out from?  |

I've never bought anything like that but you could look on Loot ~ they have an agricultural section http://www.loot.com/
And yes there are often farm machinery auctions ~ look in your local paper. There may also be some in some of the broadsheets I think.

Try The local papers
www.autotrader.co.uk look under plant and search for what you want
look in the tractor and machinery section of autotrader magazine
Tractor trader is a monthly magazine that has loads of stuff for sale
Farmers weekly
Farmers Guardian weekly newspaper(out fridays) with big classifieds section and is mostly reasonably priced
also most auctioneers that specialise in farming disposals
Tractor and Machinery magazine-monthly
Modern Tractor -monthly
or google tractor and machinery dealers for your area
that should give you enough for now

great thanks for the advice will pop to the newsagents to see what ones they have.already tried ad trader nothing in there for miles but will keep looking thanks for the advice  |

Also pop and have a chat with a local nearby small farm they will tell you where to get stuff locally and who the rip-off merchants are
