| Denmark has confirmed it's first case of H5N1 this week. They are saying though they have investigated 39 other suspected outbreaks in the Uk, all of which returned a negative result for avian flu. Keep your fingers crossed guys! |

OK - we can breathe again!
Preliminary tests taken after dozens of dead chickens were discovered on a farm in Orkney have proved negative for bird flu, it has been confirmed.

| Am I the only one who thinks that (notwithstanding the Orkney scare) the media have gone oddly quiet? |

...that's because they have no scare stories to print! All that seems to be coming out at present is sensible wel-thought out reports, like the ones Nigel has been putting up.
Although it could be the lull before the storm. |
