My lovely friendly dexter heifer lost her calf on Thursday, the poor little cow is in a very sad state. Spent all morning yesterday with the vet testing for all sorts of diseases - all we have to do now is wait for the results. Devastated doesn't cover how we feel at this moment. |

Oh, that's so sad Issy. Poor little thing & poor mummy cow.
Hope it's nothing too nasty/catching. Do you only have the 1 heifer? |

| No we have another two heifers one of which is still pregnant so we have all fingers and anything else crossed that it isn't anything catching. |

I'm really sorry to hear about the calf I know how difficult it can be, I hope the rest of your calves are heathly. Does the vet have any ideas?
