read on here about giving greens as extras. Are these essential, mine have layers pellets in the morning, and mixed corn mid afternoon, they are in a big run. that's got lots of grass, if I give them greens, lettuce/cabbage etc, they look at me as though I'm stupid, and leave it.

Grass alone is fine. Very Happy The other stuff is only a treat anyway so if yours won't eat it, don't bother giving it to them. Wink

mine wont eat greens either, but do free range, and get corn or pasta sweet corn etc.

Greens are ok if they dont have much or no grass, if they're free ranging in a meadow they don't need extra greens.
