Oh dear, I obviously don't clean out the coops enough Confused
The Shetlands attempted to roost on the roof of the Ark, because it all looked to clean, and there was something extra in there to spook them Rolling Eyes
The 3 broodies have been removed and are in the indoor cage I had the Shets in when they were small, they were not amused at being removed from the nest Very Happy
The others in the main coop, made a lot of noise about the fact that it was clean and therefore scary!!
Not a happy bunch tonight Very Happy

Oh dear Nanny
How could you ! Surprised

Mine usually dive into the house after I've cleaned it out and start kicking the wood shavings all over the place, I'm not sure what it is that they are trying to find though Shocked

Maybe that would do the trick, but i don't put wood shavings down for them to scratch around in, only use them in the nest box. Oh well, by morning, it will all be done and dusted. And hopefully the broodies will be broken by Tuesday Very Happy

Mine all wait outside until somone can't wait any longer, then they usually jump onto the wood shavings they quickly go up onto a roost. Clean hen house? Whatever next! Put sand all over the run once and they wouldn't come out!
