hi just joined and want to know how to go for the goof life. Have 3/4 acre and want to produce as much as poss. Any ideas and where to go to learn would be appreciated.
would like chickens and rabbits for food and chicks for eggs.

Welcome I too am new to this, so not the right person to offer advice but welcome all the same. Jealous of your land, my chooks are very much garden based.

hi cluck cluck - there's a really good book called the self sufficiency handbook - it shows how to get the most out of whatever land you have, from an urban garden right up to 5 acres of land. It's absolutely packed with ideas and help and when to do what in the garden.
