Hi!!I'm incubating for the first time and I was looking at the R-COM20(2008model) on PandT poultry's site. If there is any other suggestions on what model or where to buy please let me know!!

I like hovabators too, cheap, simple and effective and you can get an autoturner for them as well.

Just bought my hovabator and put first lot of eggs in this morning. They are very reasonably priced and very easy to use. I'll let you know how the hatch goes....

My brinsea polyhatches are great for chicken eggs Very Happy I have three of them. The oldest is 22 years old, and only mechanical problem I have encountered is a new turning motor this year and of course occassional thermometers when one gets broke Embarassed . Brinsea were great and a new motor was soon in the post for me Very Happy

I have heard good reports with the R-com but not had any experience with them.

yes hovabators are polystyrene - its a good insulating material and very cost effective - hence the low price of the unit.

you can buy them from www.livefoods.co.uk or www.solwayfeeders.com

I've had good experiences with both of those companies.
