Photo's to come this afternoon of my young growers.
Autosexing the females have a spot on the head at hatch, crested and very early maturing. Heat tolerant as well. L/F but light breed.
Quality is poor sorry about that, old camera and bright sunshine
Note the third pic you can see two of the girls have no crest. From what I can find out there are three strains, crested, non crested and a naked neck. I have crested and non crested. They are not very tame despite plenty of human contact, the coq is not bad at all but the girls are very shy, very difficult to catch them in the open for a snap, they dive off into undergrowth a lot.
As you can see they are a lovely colour, the pics do them no justice at all, you can see the coq's double comb, he really does look amazing.

Got them off a lovely lady who breeds rare breeds. Had some fantastic eggs off her this year including these gems. I believe she is the only UK breeder of them and has the only ones in the UK 'cept these four that I hatched off her.
I really like them, I think they will become a lot more popular as everyone comments on the hens as they are a lovely colour. |

Not the best photo....taken the other day. I'll grab some better ones when I get a little time.
Can't really see the brown flecks in him, lovely colouring.
One of the non crested hens. They carry themselves very high, almost a game appearence with tails at an almost perfect 90 degree to the back.
