One of our chooks, who was broody but has gone off the idea (but is still confined as I'm worried about her) is doing very runny, extremely stinky, greeny-yellowy poo. It smells very acid and quite "rank".

I know "broody poo" stinks, but this is different ... plus the colour and consistency. It's worrying me, and I daren't let her back with the others in case it's infectious!

Any ideas? Confused

Oh, and having read another recent post, she has been wormed within the past couple of months.

Is she showing any other symptoms, or just the diarrhoea?

Just the diarrhoea. She's "sitting" a lot, but then again she's been broody (but left the eggs after a few days to "sit" elsewhere Rolling Eyes ). Eating and drinking fine. Not noticeably pale or anything else wrong.

Sorry for the delay getting back to this - been a bit hectic here!

I'd definitely keep her separated till you're happier with her - how is she doing now?
