Just wondering if any has Bassette hens. I understand they are a small bird. Was wondering what type of temperament they have and are they easy to keep? any one with pictures?

I've heard of them but never seen them. Perhaps you could try the Poultry club of Great Britain, they may be able to point you in the right direction Very Happy

They were first developed in Belgium and almost died out around the time of the war - they dont' do well enclosed and need either a large run or free range.

Here's a link with good information and a picture

Such a pity the picture of the cock bird doesn't work......

Looks a useful breed - very interesting.
