One of my hens is spending a lot of time in her coop, fluffing up her feathers and her tummy is bald. I don't think she is laying either. Is she broody? If so, how do I stop this?

it sounds like it - best way to break them is to put them in a raised wire cage so the air can flow underneath and cool their breast - sometimes it can take 3 days so make sure you put food and water in with her!

what i need (advice from another) i put her and 2 other broodies i had in a seperate pen in the day with food, water and shelter if it rained. Then let them out at night time to go back in the house. It worked after about 3 days.
