are chickens happy to live on a concrete base? have had woodchippings down but have just shoveled it out as was getting too mucky and was quite wet....not even been down 3 weeks? Sad think it would be easier to just leave them on the concrete and hose it down every evening? they have branches in their run and i try and keep them amused with cd's hanging and giving them grass and stuff....would appreciate advice from all you fellow chicken lovers!! Very Happy

put down a concrete base (slight fall one way )and cover with 10/20mm gravel (3 inch deep) and disinfect and hose down and rake level as needed
