| Don't they just! It's like you're murdering them. I can imagine how it feels, though. |

thought maybe you guys would like to know about what I did yesterday.
First thing got both milkmaids rams ready to go town which was making sure they had very clean undersides which meant a quick clip and dag. then haltered them up, both behaved very well to be honest compared to what they can be like. loaded up and went to town with them. Unfortunately being 18 and female and very short the blokes thought that I mustn't be very good and was funny to watch the crofters faces as I unloaded both full size rams on my own both on halters, was a classic as the slaughterman had said a fair wind and I wouldn't stand up, (those of you know me hopefully think different)
I though it was classic because I'm more known for my cattle and goats.
anyway got home and fixed the ram assisted flat pack lambing shelter. worked my collies and then gutted and filleted some fish and then a rabbit that was very kindly donated by debcat so got a nice pelt and a fair sized rabbit for dinner .
To be honest Sunday was welcome relieve after being at ness Thursday and Friday helping worming and drenching for debcats OH and then helped weaned. then was working at goathill (the dairy farm) Saturday , spent the evening teaching my younger sister how to work cattle as we had to move my calves to another field and then take home a cow with pretty heifer calve.
anyway off to mark lambs have fun |
