| It's like the hens all over again - we'll just have half a dozen - then kept 8, now we have16 (not counting the 2 bantam males I want rid of!) We only wanted 2 or 3 ducks and already have 6 ducklings. But what if there are a lot of males? If we don't take them we will kick ourselves. I think I may take them and surely females at least will be easy enough to rehome ........... I don't have much room! The hen house chicken quarters are about 36' sq - don't know how well ducks and hens get on - want them to run together so we don't have to fence any more. They have teh old veg patch to run around in - plenty of room there ........ |

| Yeah - but I don't have a croft or farm - I live in an ex-council house with a bit of land we took in between us and the road! |

Damn, Julia, if you don't want encouragement, you should tell this to a forum about Military models or something. They wouldn't encourage you at all
No use coming to us with dilemma like that, we're all far too helpful |

Point the little duckies southwards, give them my address, throw them into the air.... and they'll be with me in a few hours |
