Lovely George. I've managed to persuade Mark to cook breakfast. I don't think he'll build me anything like your OH is |

He's done very well, George.
When will the coop be done? Is it ready made, or are you building one from scratch? |

You see the green shed to the right of the picture?
That's gonna be the hen house, as soon as we've built the new shed to put all the garden tools in,
I ordered an automatic door opener last week but no sign of it yet
And hopefully the weldmesh and posts for the run will arrive today and tomorrow, then we can hopefully get it done over the weekend

Yes, he's got racing pigeons as well as chickens,
So he's happy to look after ours when we are away on holiday |

| I live in the end of a 4 terrace ~ at the other end is a man who keeps pigeons. The other night I went out to water the pots and nearly jumped out of my skin when I saw small thing curled up on the floor. Birds are not supposed to be in that bit, not my birds anyway, and this was a pigeon. It got a bit of a water squirt but didn't move, so I thought it was hurt. It let me pick it up and I took it to him, only to be told it was a wood pigeon (well how was I to know?) Any way he said he would put it in a cage for a couple of days and then let it go when it had recovered, poor thing must have flown too far and got puffed out. But now I know how to tell a wood pigeon from one of his! |

| Excellent job there George, now we know why there's all this frenzied building, it's for all those lovely little things that are putting their appearance in today. |

LOL, no it's for those great big bruisers which arrived 4 weeks ago,
Hopefully, it will work out putting them all together, in a couple of months time |
