Does anyone have or know of a 'call' magpie available (for my Larsen trap) within say 30 miles or so from Bangor?

Any helpful suggestions to get over the problem would be welcome.

look for local gamekeepers they often keep call birds

Thanks for the offer Jan, but cant think of any way of getting it here at reasonable cost at the moment.

Any tips on an attractive bait to catch a 'caller'? The only one I've caught so far in three weeks was caught in the spring door and strangled immediately! Propped up the ex magpie in the cage, but lack of movement proved a failure!
