yes its me waffling on about liquers again...............with xmas on its way and all the differant citrus fruits from the orange family soon to be in the shops i thought you might like to try this....................peel(no pith left) and split segments (dont crush) leaving pips in ,........about6/8 small fruits..........find a wide neck jar about 1 pint big............put in fruit fill with neat alchol(i use vodka).........put in a dark place..........stir gently every other day for 2 weeks then leave for 2 weeks...............then strain ( coffee filters work if you havent got a fine strainer)and add sugar syrup to taste.(syrup is made with 4 fluid ozs of warm warm having as much sugar dissolved in it as poss).....................top of with vodka .....leave till xmas day and sample(for adults only).............for youngsters a pudding spoon full in a big tumbler of lemonade is a special xmas treat.................for anyone who dislikes alchol ...........buy cheap fruit in quantity .peel and juice....depip...........freeze 3/4 full plastic water bottles full
