| If DEFRA or whoever make all these new rules, you'd think they'd have some suggestions as where to get rid of the fleeces! |

wool marketing board
it's unworkable
but it does mean that farmers ,will be happier to pass them on to people instead of being stightly caught in a corner so advertise ,if you lived closer you could have had mine ,just had a thought how much did you want |

Crikey Suz, sounds like you've got some red tape to fight through when it comes to sheep
I don't really need much, just enough to 'have a go'. It is a fairly rural area here, so it might well be worth asking on Freecycle
Probably better to find somewhere I can pick them up from, as with the new postage charges for larger parcels, I should imagine a fleece would cost a bit to post
Thanks for all the info everyone - much appreciated Oh, and Mojo, if I ever come across a particularly lovely fleece, I promise I shall just plonk my bottom on it rather than felting it |

Oooohhh thank you Suz, I hadn't realised you were actually offering, that's fantastically kind
I'll see what's around, anyway. I'm a complete beginner - I have no idea about felting, I just fancy a go! |

It is, Mojo - I add the dog's hair when he's been brushed - he's a hairy beast |
