| The little one I have in the bantam run has caused a lot of comment already. Sweetest nature too and none of the fully feathered birds find her in the least bit odd. |

Henwife, what's your new girl like then? I'm sure she's just as pretty really
I must try to get a decent pic of your boy today - he doesn't like standing still for the camera, bless his awkward little claws...
Stumpy is the one with the dodgy feathers - what you can't see from the pics is that her primaries are all twisted and clubbed - hence the name
The other two pullets are outside with the broody so I haven't been able to look at them properly, but they appear to have pretty decent feathering (well, as decent as they get with this hatch ). I was talking to Skyegirl on the phone about it the other day (she occasionally has TNNs as well) and she thinks that when they moult, there's a reasonable chance of decent feathers coming through, so we shall see...
I must look into getting my LF whites soon, it'll be worth a go just to see how they hatch |

| Mine has rather a bosom of feathers which shouldn't be there and Ma being brown, there are brown 'highlights', but she's gradually taming. The two baby pekins she's sharing her isolation with are tucked up on the perch with her now instead of huddling in their own corner. Even daughter can't extract the photos that we moved, so I'll have to start again. I love his pirate mask! |

Like you said Jan its a good job we are all different and dont like the same things
They never look as if they have been finished to me
Apparently Retford Veterinary laboratory (on the internet) are well into these if any one is interested so I am reliably informed.Apparently have quite specialised knowledge of them which makes a change as most vets seem to like poultry. Might be worth dropping them an e-mail to check them out.
I wont be |

I'll look them up, thanks for that My Stumpy is growing proper feathers now, she looks rather swish |
