The newsletter for May has been posted. John Manners is a really helpful and knowledgeable guy who posts a newsletter once a month.GreenGardener - May for all those useful hints/tips and things to do list, and of course his website sells you the stuff to do it all with.

Thanks for posting that Nigel Very Happy I certainly picked up a few tips.

I didn't realise there were some natural sprays you could use before you release beneficial insects.

And I love the idea of the ladybird house and ladybird cabin. And breeding ladybirds - great - at last some eggs I could hatch at home with fear of any impending crowing Confused Laughing

I bought Mark, a mason bee nest, the Christmas before last, it has attracted zilch since, he is so disappointed. I saw some ladybird houses at the same time, if I see some again, I will get one Very Happy

I bought 2 mason bee nest they were both full last year. Once they lay eggs and seal the tubes ready to hatch for next year (usually around the end of june) I could post you some down. You'd still have to wait till May-06 before they hatch though.
