Can't really tell from the pics, but I would guess it's only a weed of some kind.

| I think I had some of these appear a few years ago. Does it have blue flowers that have a white centre. I was told it was called the Shoo Fly plant. I have seen it since in the TM catalogue, I'll see if I can find the proper name. |

If it is the same as the plants that came from dont know where in my garden, and it does look very much the same, the proper name is Nicandra. Its supposed to repel flies so could be quite useful  altho it does look a bit weed like. The flowers are pretty and I think you can dry the seed heads. |
