Fred and her only chick.

My fault, I let her sit in her nest box and I dont think there was enough humidity as the other two were shrink wrapped and couldn't get out.

Dont know how this one did it, the membrane was just the same as the others.

I dont know if its wrong Sue B. This time it was, I cant think of any reason why the membranes were so thick and tight other than it was too dry on nestbox shavings.
Ive done it before and had 100% hatch. Just didnt work this time. The weather was very dry at the time, dont know if that would make a difference.

sue, hatching in the nest box should be fine. jan it probably wasnt anything you did, just sometimes happens!
