Went to an Agricultural show at the weekend and got myself 3 cream legbar eggs and 3 black copper maran eggs to go under my broody. I've done it all properly this time let them rest etc....so fingers crossed. My last lot off ebay didn't hatch.
Trouble is they had loads of chickens for sale and I wanted them all I loved the Bluebells and the frizzles.
So have spent the weekend planning a new bigger and better chicken pen (hubby is getting fed up we're onto the third one now, and he gets the contract....unpaid work of course ) |
