Garden Poultry have a website here
As the comets and rockets are not listed under their breeds section. My assumption is that they are hybrids. I'm guessing bluebell/ranger types.
Lucy, as hybrids I would expect them to be hardy and good natured probably starting to lay between 20-22 weeks. I would also expect them to lay 300+ large eggs per year.
Nigel

They're hybrids. I seem to remember some adds in the poultry mags for a range that look very simillar to the meadowsweet hybrids. Don't know if its the same ones, but I found these at "Good Life Poultry":
PS the "click for larger image" won't work unless you go to their website... |

| Congrtatulations on the first egg! Yumo...Soldiers...The first is always the best. Sometimes it takes a little while for the Chicken to know where to lay the egg. |
